Why did we start Playburg?
At Playburg, our story begins in the classroom. One of our founders has spent the past 13 years teaching kindergarten and 3rd grade, witnessing firsthand how powerful sensory play can be for children. In every classroom, sensory experiences helped students reduce anxiety, regulate their nervous systems, take meaningful calm‑down breaks, and re-engage with learning in a grounded, joyful way.
Our other founder brings a completely different but equally essential strength: a background in law and a natural talent for aesthetics, branding, and business strategy. Together, we blend educational expertise with thoughtful design to create sensory products that are not only developmentally meaningful but also beautiful, intentional, and crafted with care.
